Accomplishments • Joint Meeting with 802.1AVB • Discussed 802.lQav/802.1Qat requirements in order to recommend appropriate 802.11 TSpec and TCLAS parameters • Define the mapping from the parameters in Stream Reservation Request into 802.11 TSpec(s) • Define requirements for information on the state of an 802.11 link and expectation from an 802.11 link that AVB can use • Discussed “802.11 Network Bridge” problem and potential use of .11s 6-address frames as a solution • 4-address frame with a special RA • 6-address format that encapsulates the original 802.3 frame Ganesh Venkatesan, Intel Corporation
