My water saving device . This term’s research task was making and creating a water saving device and I had some pretty good ideas !!!. Creating the wheelie bin water saver. This is a plastic patio roof but in my model it is going to be cardboard.

  1. My water saving device This term’s research task was making and creating a water saving device and I had some pretty good ideas !!!

  2. Creating the wheelie bin water saver This is a plastic patio roof but in my model it is going to be cardboard. This is a gutter bracket but I'm using blu tack and paper clips. This is a storm water pipe but I'm using the out side of a pen. This is a plastic patio gutter but and I'm using cardboard. This is a water wheelie bin but I'm using a small desk one.

  3. knowing • My goal is to make a water saving device. • The materials I used were gutter, gutter brackets, storm water pipe, water wheelie bin, calk and calking gun. • 1.Measure the size of where you are putting the gutter so you don't get to much or not enough. • 2.Buy all the right materials. • 3.Get the brackets and the gutter. • 4.Cut a hole in the gutter but make sure it is the same size as the pipe. • 5.Screw the brackets into the gutter and screw it into the roof. • 6.Put the pipe in the hole and make sure it is long enough. • 7.Cork it in. • 8.Get your wheelie bin and put it under the pipe. • 9.Enjoy the satisfaction of saving water.

  4. understanding • Do most of you realize when it is raining all of the water just drips down and onto your roof and then just drips onto the ground. Well I've got a fantastic idea how to use that water. So when it rains the water goes down the gutter and into the pipes. Then it goes into the water wheelie bin and the valve lets out all of the water into the grass or your fruit and veg or plants. How does it save water? It saves water because most people just use the water from the hose but now you are using the rain water.
