  7. Logistics • Skipper • Responsible down in the BVIs • Boat Lead • Point person for pre-trip logistics such as payments, forms, and provisioning.

  8. Cost Price per person (approximate): • Average boat cost $500 • Average airfare $700 • Provisions $300 $1,500 • Boat cost includes damage insurance • Prices will vary based on number of people per boat

  9. Deadlines • October 31 $100 p.p. downpayment due boat roster, skipper & lead signed waivers • November 21 25% payment due (~$50 p.p.) (charged to lead’s credit card) • March 21 75% payment due (~$250p.p.) • May 26 balance due (~$125 p.p.)

  10. Skipper Options 1. 2nd-year skipper: Skipper submits resume Indicate skipper name 2. 1st-year skipper: Save spot (You cover boat & food cost) 3. Hire a skipper: Save cabin Approximately $150/day extra • All skippers are subject to approval • We’ll help with matching for 2. and 3.

SCUBA Diving • Beginner Divers Package • Open Water I Certification in Mass. in April – Approx $300 • 2 Professionally Escorted Dives – • One Reef (TBD), RMS Rhone wreck • Advanced Diver Package • Same dives as above • Two additional dives (another wreck, another reef) • Some diving directly from sailboats Costs: TBD…Between $200 and $400.
