  3. WebFOCUS USF User Meeting‘Coordinated’ Dashboards You may choose one field for your ‘coordinated’ field. It coordinates the whole dashboard and a pull down list box is automatically created to filter the dashboard. This only works with Active reports (HTML, Flash and PDF), and can be emailed.

  4. WebFOCUS USF User MeetingDashboards with ‘chained’ filters You may insert any number of controls to filter the dashboard based on fields in the reports/charts. Open the ‘Properties’ of the control to set the field and the cascades (chains). This only works with Active reports (HTML, Flash and PDF), and can be emailed.

  6. WebFOCUS USF User MeetingOutput Target Window setting Click on the IA icon in the upper left and select Options. New Window will launch the report output into a new window as opposed to a new tab in the existing frame. This is a cleaner approach and less confusing.

  7. WebFOCUS USF User MeetingAccordion Reports Accordion button is on Format tab. Creates automatic roll ups with drill downs through all the sort levels. Only works with HTML output.
