  4. Graduation/ADMISSION Requirements Must pass AIMS Writing, Reading and Mathematics!

Arizona University Admissions • Must have minimum 3.0 GPA or ACT 22 or SAT 1040 or be in the top 25% • Applicant with a 2.50-2.99 GPA in core course may be admitted with conditions • Admission may be granted with one deficiency in no more than two subject areas. Deficiencies in both math and science are not acceptable

At the conclusion of their freshman year, stu dents will register for Living World and then take Practical Ecology and Practical Astronomy their junior year. Student may exit the Remedial Pathway at any time with teacher recommendation only. • Students following the Traditional Pathway may select a variety of classes only after the completion of Biology. Students who do not pass Chem-Physics or Biology will be required to retake those classes before advancing. It is strongly recommended that students attending a university take both Chemistry and Physics. * Please see prerequisites for advancement from one course to the next in the course offerings section of this handbook. * Dual Enrollment is available in Biotechnology, Human Anatomy and Physiology, Biology 3-4 and Honors Chemistry.
