How did Abe Lincoln grow up? • He grew up in Kentucky. • He taught himself how to readand to do his history. • He would dream of freedom • He worked on a float boat and a general store • A wrestler named Jack Armstrong became friends with Abe. • In 1830 Abe’s dad wanted to move to Illinois • When they were there Abe helped his dad build a cabin.
