ECAL Electronics, DCS • T-MUX module • multiplexing + transducer module (RBFE), has single channel transducer ASIC • sensor excitation and raw signal conditioning for 8/16 sensors • ASIC : has current source (1/10/100 mA), diff. amplifier, Vref (2.5 V), control logic, provides diff. voltage (0-2.5 V) output signal • Sensor excitation via DC current, 1 or 10 mA • ASIC : developed for LHC cryogenics control, designed and tested for use in radiation environment • issue of radiation hard MUXs investigated at the moment • Two technicians from Protvino have work together with LHC-ACR group on development of this T-MUX module • currently under test in ETH lab • To be defined : • exact sensor location and fixation • installation sequence
