CPW Learning Intentions - Today, I am going to address these College Readiness Standards in English: Conventions of Punctuation 16-19 Word Choice in Terms of Style, Tone, Clarity, and Economy 24-27 Organization, Unity, and Coherence 20-23 Conventions of Punctuation 16-19 SQUADS “10th Grade English” Success Criteria – I will know I am successful if I can: • Use a set of commas to set off non-essential info • Choose the most concise word • Insert a sentence for cohesion • Use a set of commas to set off non-essential info

  2. 10th Grade English Directions • You will have 1 minute and 30 seconds to work on each question individually. • There will be a stopwatch timer included on each slide for the teacher to set so you can keep track. • After you have completed each question individually, you will have 1 minute and 30 seconds to work as a group and decide on the best answer and rationale.
