Innovative Support to Employment of Rural Marginalized Groups - SyneRgi

This project aims to support the employment of rural marginalized groups in partnership with the Visegrad International Fund and the local action group "Dolina Raby". The focus is on creating job opportunities in food processing, tourism, and pro-ecological construction. The project also includes cooperation projects and transnational education initiatives.

  5. The area, population and budget of LAG Dolina Raby BISKUPICE NOWY WIŚNICZ GDÓW • 6 Gminas(municipalities): • 1 urban-rural • 5 rural ŁAPANÓW TRZCIANA ŻEGOCINA Population: 60 668 (2016) Budget: about 2 milion Euros

  6. LAG mainactivity • LAG acted within the Measure 19 of the Rural Development Programme2014-2020 – Leader/CLLD • Sub-measuresaresupports for:  • Implementation of local development strategies; • Implementation of cooperationprojects; • Runningcosts and activation.

  7. Profile of Dolina Raby (1) • We are interested in a job creation, especially in the following fields: • food processing, especially connected with traditional local products, • tourism, especially in developing of touristic trails, • pro-ecological construction.

  8. Profile of Dolina Raby (2) • Our the most important event is FestiwalRosołu (the Broth Festival). Because of the first Polish cookbook was written by StanisławCzerniecki in 1682 in the castle of NowyWiśnicz. The first position in this book is occupied by Polish Broth. • For the same reason, we run the Cookbook Museum to collect local and regional cookbooks from different regions and countries .

  9. Profile of Dolina Raby (3) • We organize also the annual nation-wide competition for the best book about culinary. The prize is a cup founded by the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development. • We madesometouristtrails: bicycle, historical, culinary • We set up the SocialCooperative „Dolina Raby” .

  10. Cooperationprojects • We took part in 11 cooperation projects (including three preparatory ones). Two projects (with two preparatory ones) were transnational (one with Finnish and one with Irish LAGs). The projects were mainly concerned with a promotion of local traditional food. • We plan other 7 transnationalprojects with Finnish, Irish, Slovak, Hungarian, Italian, Latvian and SwedishLAGs .

Three Erasmus+ projects • Transnational Education in LEADER Implementation TELI2 – the international 1-year course on academic level to improve skills of LAG’s staff and management and decision bodies (Ireland, Croatia, Portugal, Slovenia, Poland, Romania; more - teli2.eu • Glocalization in adult education – good practices (Poland, Slovakia, Latvia) – moreFB • Through Culinary to KeyCompetences– Poland, Cyprus, Finland, Slovenia
