  3. In communities, storms have knocked out power cables several times, causing power-cut chaos.

  4. Large National Power Stations So….. where does their electricity come from now?

  5. Today – Gas and Coal In the future – mostly gas 2020 What turns generators in UK power stations? 2005

  6. But, British Natural Gas is running out…… In the future we will have to import our gas from other countries through large pipes. But what if a big gas pipe gets damaged? Or the country we get gas from has political problems?

  7. What’s more Burning fossil fuels releases carbon dioxide into the air….. This adds to the greenhouse effect Leading to even more unpredictable weather like storms and floods
