  3. What is Title I Kingsbury Middle School is a Title I School. Which means we receive federal funds to ensure that our school is ran appropriately. Title I is a part of the No child left Behind Act, which requires that schools provide high quality instruction in a positive and supportive learning environment. *All parents should have received a packet that includes KMS’s Title I Notification-Parents Right to Know- and Family Engagement Plan

  4. Adequate Yearly Progress(AYP) • AYP is defined as a school’s expected level of growth for a given school year. This number is assigned by the Department of Education. Unfortunately, we have been identified as a High Priority School this year. This is not because our test scores dropped, but because they stayed the same overall. • However, we are COMMITTED to ensuring that we provide the students with the necessary support to make ACADEMIC GAINS.
