(Interoperability Now) • + ETSI TIPHON • - Microsoft TAPI

  7. Problems detected • Fast Connect • - early adoption phase • - different interpretations of the standard around • Registration with Gatekeepers (Alias, Prefix) • Keep Alive Messages • Dial number format for outgoing Setup to GW

  8. How to solve problems ? • Encourage engineers to provide feedback • Make the standards less miss interpretable • Reduce the number of options by e.g. generating a TIPHON profile • Specify more parameters in tests specification
