  1. Advanced Metering Working Group (AMWG) Update to RMS March 3, 2015

SMT Infrastructure Refresh • Hardware replacement • Testing, configuration, integration activities underway • SMT outages will occur • 2/24 - 2/26 – intermittent outages occurred affecting HAN and ODR • ~3/10 through 3/12 - intermittent outages affecting HAN and ODR • ~3/28 – GO LIVE…will require 2-4 day SMT outage • March dates are tentative • Market notices will be sent

  3. Change Requests (CRs) • 1 CR (2013-014) ready for delivery • 8 CRs are estimated and ready for prioritization • Story boards and cost estimates presented at the February AMWG meeting. Ready for RMS review and approval • 3rd Party implementation resulted in 15 suggested enhancements • 11 CRs approved by AMWG & RMS and are pending estimation • Customer-suggested enhancements • 10 CRs presented and approved at February AMWG meeting. Ready for RMS review and approval

Updated 2014 Goals - Review • Establish a document management strategy for working documents related to AMWG and Smart Meter Texas (SMT) • Support RMS and other market forums as issues arise related to Advanced Metering Systems (AMS) data • Maintain ‘TDSP AMS Data Practices’ matrix to support current business processes • Evaluate, support, and contribute to the enhancement of the SMT functionality, usability, reporting and registration process. • Address all initiatives remaining from the ERCOT AMS data workshop series • Evaluate options for streamlining and expanding registration options to SMT and access to SMT data (ex. Federation – 3rd party registration on behalf of customers)

  5. 2015 Meetings • Monthly, alternating between in-person and WebEx • Next meeting is March 25th at ERCOT • 9:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. • Room 168 • Remaining meetings for 2015: • April 21st – WebEx only September 22nd Room 168 at ERCOT • May 19th - Room 168 at ERCOT October 21st – WebEx only • June 16th – WebEx only November 17th – Room 209 at ERCOT • July 21st – Room 168 at ERCOT December 15th – WebEx only • August 17th – WebEx only
