  3. I. WE ARE LIVING IN TWO WORLDS • The "Seen" exists in the Midst of the "Unseen“ • Eternal Things are Present Things • Invisible Things are Real Things • Senses are not essential to Spiritual Joy • Things not less real because Unseen

  4. II. MATERIAL THINGS ARE INSUFFICIENT • The Great Corrective • Two Kinds of Rest • Things Seen do not Satisfy • True Philosophy of Life

  5. III. GOD HAS MADE THE TEMPORAL AND VISIBLE THINGS TO BE TYPES OF THE SUPERIOR INVISIBLE AND ETERNAL THINGS • God aims to compel Us to see Eternal Things • Temporal and Eternal Related • The Visible reveals the Invisible

  6. IV. ETERNAL THINGS ARE VASTLY SUPERIOR TO TEMPORAL THINGS • Visible Things not equal to Capacity of Human Soul

LOOKING AT THE UNSEEN BRINGS GREAT BENEFITS • Afflictions Temporal, their Resultant Glory Eternal • Though Powerful Temporal Things are Transitory • True Greatness a Result of Seeing the Invisible • How to understand the Visible • Seeing the Unseen prepares One for Eternity • Looking at the Eternal lifts One above the Transient • Seeing the Unseen an Incentive to doing One’s Duty

  10. VIII. IT IS OUR DUTY TO PASS BEYOND VISIBLE THINGS AND TO LOOK AT AND ENJOY THE THINGS WHICH ARE UNSEEN • One Gravitation against Another • Failure to look at the Unseen Weakens • How to see the Invisible • The Secret • To see the Unseen is possible only through Jesus
