  2. Hazardous Occupations Did you know that there are some occupations that students are not allowed to do?? Do you know what some of these Hazardous Occupations are?

  3. The following slides will help you to know what the laws say regarding hazardous occupations. Don’t let an employer take advantage of you!!! Know your rights!

  4. Hazardous Occupation #1 • Manufacturing and storing of explosives

  5. Hazardous Occupation #2 • Driving a motor vehicle and being an outside helper on a motor vehicle

  6. Hazardous Occupation #3 • Coal Mining

  7. Hazardous Occupation #4 • Logging and sawmilling

  8. Hazardous Occupation #5 • Power-driven woodworking machines

  9. Hazardous Occupation #6 • Exposure to radioactive substances

  10. Hazardous Occupation #7 • Power-driven hoisting apparatus
