  2. Questions Is there a relationship in your life where you’d like to see a little more love than there is right now? What would you need to do to achieve it?

  3. FINDING LOVE IN HUMILITY Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit. Rather, in humility value others above yourselves, not looking to your own interests but each of you to the interests of the others. Philippians 2:3-4

  4. 3 HUMILITY MARKERS Does nothing in that relationship where you’re looking out for yourself at the expense of the other person. Does nothing to elevate your needs or your desires over that person. Figures out what their needs are and meets their needs before your own.

  5. HUMILITY “If you want to increase love in your relationship, then act as though you believe that the other person is more important than you are.”

  6. WHY SHOULD WE DO THIS? In your relationships with one another, have the same mindset as Christ Jesus…Philippians 2:5 We love like that because as Christians, we have the mind of Christ!

  7. WHY SHOULD WE DO THIS? Who, being in very nature God, did not consider equality with God something to be used to His own advantage; rather, He made himself nothing by taking the very nature of a servant, being made in human likeness. And being found in appearance as a man, He humbled Himself by becoming obedient to death—even death on a cross! Philippians 2:6-8 On Christmas morn, He humbled Himself for us and we should do the same for others

  8. IF WE ARE GOING TO FIND LOVE Lay aside your rights and privileges Lay aside your need for attention Lay aside your need to be right Elevate the other person instead of yourself
