  3. Content • Access students’ prior knowledge • Provide background information • Student must acquire knowledge in order to complete investigation • Student must prove comprehension

  4. Process • Students generate researchable questions, create plan for research • Teacher provides materials/authentic resources, facilitates process • Students analyze results • Students communicate results

  7. Facilitation Plan Outline: • Students interview others about use of math in their lives • Class discussion on findings • Brainstorming topics of interest • Post topics around room, peruse
