  6. Fearis a powerful motivator that will either imprison usor drive us to God

  7. Whom Do You Fear?

  8. Fear of God Proverbs 15:33 33The fear of the Lord is instruction in wisdom and humility comes before honor 2 Corinthians 5:10-11 10For we must all appear before the judgment of Christ so that each one may receive what is due; worthy or worthless. 11Therefore, knowing the fear of the Lord, we persuade others. God knows who you are and hopefully you do too.

  9. Fear of Man Hebrews 13:5-6 5Keep your life free from covetousness, be satisfied with what God has given you for he said, “I will never leave or abandon you”.6So we can confidently say, “The Lord is my helper; I will not fearfor what can man do to me?” 1 Peter 3:13- 13So who is there to harm you if you are passionately spreading good? 14but even if you should suffer for righteousness sake, you will be blessed. So do not fearthem or their threats.

  10. Compromisebrings toleranceand confusion which leads to disbelief and turns us against God

  11. Tolerance Revelation 2:18-29 The Church of Thyatira • Love, Service, Faith and Patience • They toleratedsin to linger in the church • V. 21- “and I (God) gave her time to repent and she did not.” Tolerate: aphiemi863 = to permit, allow; will not hinder or rebuke; lay aside or yield

Love = agape This is the love of God; the love defined by obedience to him • 1 John 5:3 • 2 John 1:6 • John 14:21

  14. Holiness Ephesians 1:4 4God loved us and chose us in Christ to be holyand without fault in his eyes. Positional Holiness is because of who God is, not what we are 1 Peter 1:14-15 14As obedient children, do not be conformed to the desires of your former ignorance, 15 but as he who called you is holy, you also be holyin all you ways and conduct.
