My Favorite Cotton T-Shirt and the Journey of Cotton Production

This piece highlights my favorite outfit: a white cotton T-shirt from Hong Kong, featuring Chinese dragon artwork and Chinese characters. I delve into why cotton is the ideal fabric for clothing, discussing its durability, softness, and water-absorbent qualities. The process of cotton production from farming to ginning, spinning, and garment making illustrates the journey of my T-shirt. Additionally, I touch on the historical significance of cotton and how cottonseed by-products can be utilized.
