  2. Warm-Up #115 El útimo del año • Answer the following questions. Yes, in English. • What was one concept that was the easiest to learn? • What was once concept that was the hardest to learn? • What is something that you are most proud of knowing in Spanish? (maybe because you really studied, or because you wanted to know it) • What is something you will never forget about this class? • What is a funny memory you have?

  3. Proyecto final • This project is going to replace your written Final Exam. • You will have one week to work on it • 4 days in class to write • Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday please bring an electronic device to do research (laptop, tablet, etc.) • A hard copy is due Tuesday May 24th • No exceptions • Present projects Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday

  4. El ProyectoUn Viaje a un País • Step 1: • You will sign up for a Spanish speaking country to “travel” to • First come first serve

  5. Step 2 • Get information on your country to write as if you have just returned from a 2 week vacation. Research the following topics unique to the country: • Slide 1 – Title page • Slide 2 – Intro – their childhood dream… • Slide 3 – Nature attraction • Slide 4 – Accident/ injury • Slide 5 – Visit a city attraction • Slide 6 – Dining out experience (unique to that country)

  6. Step 3 • Use the preterite and imperfect tenses to write 4 sentences per slide aboutyour trip. Each slide must have at least 30 words and 2 pictures. • Use vocabulary you have learned this semester – accidents & injuries, your childhood, food and nature. • DO NOT USE GOOGLE TRANSLATOR TO TRANSLATE YOURPROJECT! (Using Google Translator or any other translator will resultin a “0”.)

  7. Step 4 • A hard copy of your Power Point is due May 24 regardless if you are presenting or not on that day! • One slide per page, not many slides on one piece of paper. • I will not print them out for you the day they are due. Please make arrangements ahead of time. • Share your power point with me on Google slides.

  8. Grading • Written portion 100 points • Class presentation 40 points • Individual Questions60 points • 200 points

  9. Please sign up for a country. • May go on phones to begin research • For tomorrow, please print out research to bring to class to begin writing. • Writing will be as follows: • Tuesday: slides 1&2 • Wednesday: slides 3&4 • Thursday: slides 5&6
