How do I use it? • Easy as using a WTClass Drop Box • In the Lessons Folder go to: • Add Content • TurnItInDropBox • Select ‘Paper Assignment’ • Press ‘Next’ • Configure settings (Title, points, start and due dates) • Press ‘Submit’
For the students • Very similar to a traditional drop box • Upload a file • Students receive a digital receipt of their submission. • Students can view: • Originality Report • Grade • Grade Mark (instructor comments/corrections)
What does the faculty see? • Everything! • The original file • The Originality Report • Grade Marks • Grade • Date submitted
What is on this Originality Report? • Simplest: A percentage between 0% and 100% • Lower numbers are good – high numbers indicate high levels of plagiarism • File – will show the original formatting and charts, images, graphs, etc. • Other reports change the formatting of the student paper
