  1. The Taronga Zoo Trip By 2Z

  2. Early Start • We all woke up early and got ready • Then we had breakfast and came to school • When we arrived at school we had to let our teacher know we were here • Then we all got a Hammondville P.S Badge to put on our shirt in case we got lost

  3. Getting on the Bus • We were so surprised when we found out that we had our own mini bus • Our driver was a nice lady called Donna • We had to put our seatbelts on and then off we went

  4. Our Arrival • Walked into the zoo and looked for a good area to have our recess • We sat near the Workshop and toilets • We had a great view of the Sydney Harbour Bridge, Opera House and Centre Point Tower • After recess we met our Taronga Zoo Teachers

  5. At the Workshop • 2Z learnt a lot about some of the animals during the workshop that live in both wet and dry environments. • We met a possum, a stick insect and a Blue Tongue Lizard.

  7. Other Zoo Animals

  8. How we felt 2Z had an awesome day at Taronga Zoo excursion. We were all very tired but we enjoyed seeing all the interesting animals close up in their different habitats and environments. Some of us had a sleep on the bus on the way back to school. We would like to go back to the zoo with our families and see some more animals that were fast asleep or hiding.
