My Name Is Not EasyPlot: • There is a group of Alaskan teens, from different backgrounds, who come of age just after Alaska reaches statehood. • They all various from many cultures, all are subject to the prejudice, homesickness, and other hardships that result from traveling hundreds of miles from their homes to attend a Catholic boarding school. • There are students that attend Sacred Heart school, and they are not allowed to speak their native tongues nor use their native names. • However, there are 5 typical students that are able to reach common ground and form a family from the friendships they discover within the walls of the school.

Why you should get online and read: My Name Is Not Easy. • My Name Is Not Easy is a wonderful book and it’s very thoughtful when it comes to understanding the different cultures. • My Name Is Not Easy contains lots of information on teens that has had it hard and comes out beautifully formed. • My Name Is Not Easy is a good read mainly because it makes you think of how easy we have it here in Tennessee, and how we are eligible to do what we like, form families of what ever kind we choose to make a family with. The book is amazing overall and EVERYBODY should try it !!! • In this book, you read about different topics when it come to them feeling homesick, not able, disappointed, and it all leads to happiness.
