OTEGLobe is one of the very first companies to provide such services in Europe. • The main features of OTEGlobe’s solution are: • LSPs are created between any two NREN networks allowing any to any connectivity • MPLS is enabled between NREN’s networks and MSP • GR-NET serves as the primary exit of the SEEREN beneficiaries to GEANT • RO-EDUNET is used as a back-up connection, traffic will automatically be re-routed in case of failure of the primary connection • Bandwidth offered today:

Closing Remarks • In order to secure economic and social growth of the region, the S.E.European PTTs should co-operate very closely together and implement fast • Adequate national cable infrastructure • Adequate cross-border cable infrastructure • Diversified international connections to W.European, Central East European, and M.East Regions • Significant lower pricing (national & international circuits)
