  2. introduction Amerigo Vespucci was an Italian explorer funded by Spain, he explored south America and this continent was named after him.

  3. Childhood Amerigo was born in Florence Italy on March 9th in 1459 as a kid he studied navigation connected with a company that equipped ships for long trips Do you think this helped him being an explorer?

  4. Explorer • Amerigo never wanted to be an explorer but Ferdinand (the king of Spain) forced him to be an explorer Ferdinand the king of Spain

  5. Amerigo sailed to India he knew if he got to India he will get wealth

  6. When Amerigo was sailing he stopped.He saw the coast of brazil and didn’t know it was a new contnent later he discovered it was a new continent and went to tell the king of Spain Coast of Brazil

  7. After the war ended he won Argentina and Venezuela. The war

  8. The continent was named Amerigo’s name was turned into the continent’s name because hewon 2 countries of this new continent

  9. Death  Unfortunately, Amerigo diedon februrary 22nd 1512 but he showed honor to Spain.
