Abra’s new View Builder • A tool delivered with Abra Employee Self Service • Allows Abra users to publish information to executives, managers and employees • The information is available at any time once given access to an active view. • The information is automatically updated each time view is opened • ESS log-on/password authenticates & authorizes • Recognizes employee or manager status in Abra • employee, manager or executive • Filters information displayed

  8. Crystal Report Writer 2008 • Sage Abra v10 includes Crystal Reports 2008 • No more round trips to the data every time you want to see something different. Reports can easily be edited to sort, group, or suppress data with the new Parameter Panel. • Advanced layout and pagination abilities • Reports that link to images • limit the records per page, select both portrait or landscape layout in one report • Create such specialized reports as Employee Badge Reports. • All custom reports delivered with Sage Abra SQL HRMS are compatible with this new version of Crystal and run just as they did in Crystal Reports 10. Just open and save!

General Improvements • Benefit History preserves historical values • changes to benefits no longer update historical coverage amounts • Attendance corrections • Maximum available field will now be enforced- set to 99999.99 if no maximum required • Abra Link correctly updates Job History with prior data • User Defined Codes- sorting and architecture improvements • ESS email address in AWC changed to a user definable field • e-Recruiter updates • Job search • User defined requisition questions and answers

Privacy of employee information AWC changes • When using Social Security Numbers to create ESS login, SSN is fully masked • Self Authentication during login will now include company option for employees in multiple companies • Social security number or social insurance number are hidden when employees are in Abra ESS • Employees now have the ability to change their Abra ESS password securely on the new ‘Change or Reset Password’ page by reauthenticating • ESS administrators can reset passwords requiring user to reauthenticate • Employees in Abra ESS are restricted from typing in URLs of pages that they are not authorized to see

Abra SQL Payroll Enhancements • Local Taxes supplied with the product and future tax updates • Human Resources to Payroll workflow • Pass payroll transactions from Abra to AWC • Ability to terminate employees in HR and continue to pay in Payroll (added a payroll status to HR) • Option to leave the current GL Distribution code on that record • Option to transfer an employee as Hourly or Salary regardless of HRMS setting • Only update Pay Frequency in Payroll if blank or one of the supported frequencies

Beta Testing • Beta testing ended Friday, Oct 16th • For the Employee Find feature "MUCH IMPROVED!" • “people will like the navigation on the side much better, it is a smoother process, the previous versions were clunky in comparison” • “tasks feel similar, don't think it will be a difficult transition” • “Overall beta experience very good, very impressed with lack of issues found in testing” • “Version 10 is easier for new users/ more user friendly/ more visually modern/ they had an IT person who does not work in Abra do some of the testing and he was able to do so without help; do not believe this would have been the case in 8.x”
