  2. A Football Match! • Germany played England in a football match yesterday evening. England won 2-0. Wayne Rooney scored both of the goals-one in the 23rd minute and another in the 60th minute. • Half of the class will write an imaginary review of the game in their books as if they are German and half will write a review as if they are English.

  3. Vietnam Films • A lot of films have been made about the Vietnam war and Americas involvement in the war • We will watch excerpts from four different films

Questions • Do they view the Vietnam war positively or negatively? • How do they portray the US soldiers? • How do they portray the Vietnamese soldiers? • Do they use music? • What about humour? • How do they use the camera? • Does it make a difference when the films were made and who directed them?
