  2. Objective: • SPI 0807.5.1 Use a simple classification key to identify an unknown organism.

  3. TOC # Levels of Classification Story I visited the DOMAIN of England. I wanted to see the KING(DOM). There were papers, and I had to PHYLUM. I got to fly first CLASS And ORDER anything that I wanted. My FAMILY did not get to go Because my GENUS Mother Is from an alien SPECIES!

  4. TOC #How to work a Dichotomous Key Step 1: Select the organism (Hint: look at this organism the entire time you are answering questions/ statements). Step 2: ALWAYS start at the first set of questions/ statements (1a and 1b). Step 3: Once you answer the questions/ statements, follow the directions to the next set of questions/ statements. Step 4: Continue answering statements until you reach a name. This is the scientific name. It should be a 2 part name: Genus species. Step 5: Select the next organism and repeat steps 2-4.
