  1. How To Be A Good Parent @mantra_care

  2. 1. Be patient with your child This is especially true if your child has special needs or they are going through a tough time. Remember that they are just going through a phase and it will eventually pass!

  3. 2. Be loving and caring This one is probably the most important! Kids need to feel loved and cared for by their parents to grow up feeling secure and confident. You may not always understand them or their behavior. But they still deserve love from you no matter what!

  4. 3. Be encouraging and supportive It’s important to be patient with your child. They will make mistakes, but it’s how they learn! It is important not to discourage them or force opinions on them. Instead of telling them what you think, listen and ask questions so that they can explore the topic themselves!

  5. 4. Be a good role model It’s important to remember that children learn by example. So, try to be a good role model for them and show them what it means to be a good person!

  6. 5. Don’t be a helicopter parent It’s important to let kids explore their world and have some freedom. That doesn’t mean you shouldn’t protect them from harm, but it does mean that you should allow them as much independence as possible!

  7. 6. Have fun together Kids love spending time with their parents, so try to have some fun activities that you can do together! This will help them feel closer to you and make your relationship stronger.

  8. 7. You are not alone Parenting can be difficult, but it’s also one of the most rewarding things you will ever do! Remember to take care of yourself and ask for help when you need it. There are many resources available to parents who are struggling. And don’t forget that your child loves you no matter what!

  9. 9. Keep Things In Perspective And Remember Your Parenting Goal To not let the survival mode dominate your life, next time you feel angry or frustrated, step back. Think about what anger and frustration will do for you or your child. Instead, find ways to turn every negative experience into a learning opportunity for him/her. Even epic tantrums can be turned into invaluable brain- sculpting moments if you don’t focus on trying to control your child.
