Can My Program Use Crystal Reports Suitable only for large organizations? Not true; If needed, can create cross-program technology teams. Requires a database solution in place. True, after all it is a database reporting software. Appropriate for nonprofits that need to routinely prepare very detailed reports. It is the best tool for data reporting – period, simple or complex. Must have knowledgeable IT staff. Non-IT staff can develop a Crystal Report skill set. Full of wizards; easy to use for beginners; advanced users can create complex reports. Half of the Crystal Report responsible staff in Ohio programs are non-IT persons. Training available; even a CR for Dummies book.
