Idea: • many BSM modelswithnewinteractions in theHiggs sector: “Higgs portal” • newinteractions in theHiggs sector could lead to enhancements in Higgspairproductionnear • threshold(light Higgshasweakself-interactions) • H-H bound states • (Higgsium, GrinsteinandTrott 07) • gluondistributionfunctions are largestnearthreshold.

  5. Toymodel: • Use opticaltheorem to findcorrection to thecrosssection: • is the amplitude for ggscattering via a higgs loop. • Goal: compute this amplitude in thenonrelativisticlimitincluding • contributionsfromthehidden sector.
