Vastly experienced Boom operator from the 100th ARW was not responsible for any of the dents in the nose of the hog!! 'Pluging in' for an A10 pilot is not easy by any means due to the location of the receiving point. Often lifting the nose up to early to make contact. The backdrop: The North Sea abeam Coningsby.
