  3. In second half of XIX century in Kazakhstan there was a number of political circles, and in 1896 in Atbasar by the exiled worker from Ural(region in Russia) Ushakovorganized the first Marxist circle in Kazakhstan. In the beginning of XX century Marxist circles have appeared in Akmolinsk, Petropavlovsk, Uralsk, Kustanai, Semipalatinsk, Vernyi and other cities. Trade unions began to arise. In 1905 one of the first created trade union of railway men was in Uralsk, the largest was the trade union of railway man of the Orenburg-Tashkent railway.

  5. As ocassionto revolutionary revolts in Russian empire “Bloody Sunday” January 9, 1905 events have served in St. Petersburg.

  6. Early Sunday morning, January 9 (22), 1905, the workers of St. Petersburg, carrying banners, icons and portraits of the tsar, solemnly marched to the Winter Palace, the residence of the tsar, with a petition in which they told of their unbearably difficult life. Many came with their wives and children. More than one hundred and forty thousand people took part in the procession. Upon the order of the tsar, this peaceful, unarmed procession was met by gunshot. More than one thousand people were killed, and almost five thousand were injured.

  10. During a period of 9 days several thousand armed workers led a heroic struggle with the police and government troops. Workers created locations of barricade battles.

  13. 2.Activity of the Kazakh intellectuals in years of First Russian revolution The message about Russian revolution which has reached also Kazakhstan. In February, 1905 in a number of settlements of Kazakh Steppes – in Turkistan, Perovsk, Zhusaly, Shalkar and other strikes of working class were held as a token of the protest against humiliation of demonstrators.

  14. In the summer 1905 protests of the Kazakh population have got more organized and political character. During events of that period in all voice the national intelligentsia which indisputable leader became AlikhanBukeihanov has declared interests of Kazakh people.Working Kazakstans have supported the All-Russia strike, past in October.

  15. In December, 1905 of excitement have passed in a number of cities and settlements, including in Ust- Kamenogorsk, Pavlodar and others. Requirements of participants of revolutionary movement became more and more political, alongside with slogans about increase of wages and improvement of working conditions appeals about overthrow of autocracy, change of excising state system began to be distributed.

  17. Revolutionary events in Russia had duration about two years. The manifest from October, 17, 1905 in Russia established the State Duma, that any law could no apprehend force without approval of the State Duma – was spoken in it. Participation of the population of Kazakhstan in revolutionary movement of 1905 – 1907 years was the big school, allowing make experience in struggle for national and social clearing.
