Money Order Videsh is a new offering of India Post to facilitate remittances to foreign countries and receiving of remittances from foreign countries through the medium of your neighbourhood Post Office through Eurogiro network. The service  was launched on 24/10/09 Currenty the service is offered through Head post offices

The Eurogiro has …. • A co-operation of postal organisations, banks and financial service providers, established in 1989 by DK, FR, DE, NL AND UK. • Global network for electronic exchange of low-value international remittances between members. • A gateway providing connectivity to other financial service alliance partners

  5. FORMS AND DOCUMENTS • Application for remittance (Annexure-I) • A2 FERA form (Annexure-II) • Purpose of remittance KYC Form (Annexure-III) • Copies of Two Photo ID cards of the following • Driving Licence • PAN • Passport • Voter's Identity • Kisan Cards • Other ID cards

  6. Booking of MO videsh in POS • Use the option Financials in the main menu -> Select Money Order -> Select Mo videsh

  7. Booking screen will displayed and enters the data (Destination country, currency and value of remittance) available on Application for remittance

  8. After entering all the data available in Application for remittance( Annexure-I), click ok button, receipt will be generated with PNR number
