CURRENT POLICIES • On Food Waste • Green Lunch Charter • use of reusable containers and adoption of “on-site meal portioning • Not many schools are willing to participate in the on-site meal portioning due to limited space • Organic Waste Treatment Facility (OWTF) in 2013 • Can only handle 200 tones per day (v.s. 2996 tones produced)
