  3. Three Principles of a National Monitoring System • One agreed NDP monitoring framework that provides the basic for coordinating the work of all partners. • One agreed NDP M&E coordinating authority with a broad based multi sector mandate. • One agreed country level M&E system.

Content of the M&E System • Revised NDP objectives framework • Revised national results framework and indicators • Revised sector level results framework and indicators • Revised NDP M&E framework guiding principles • Revised coordinating committee structure and functions (central and sectors) • Results reporting system structure
