  2. Nomcom Confidentiality All Nomcom members are bound by the confidentiality rules of RFC 3777 including: - Chair, - Chair Advisor, - Liaisons, - Tool Advisor, - Voting Members

  3. Major Milestones NomCom 2010 has 3 major components • Selection and organization of the members • Began June 8 with Call for Volunteers • Members Announced on July 23 • Selection of candidates • Call for Nominees closed October 8 • Candidate names sent to the confirming body no later than 26 January • The Confirmation of Candidates • Finishes no later than 25 February

NomCom at IETF-79 • Change to the Voting Members • Huub van Helvoort stepped down for personal reasons • Huub was a valuable contributing member to the work and will be missed • Continue with 9 voting members • RFC 3777 specifically addresses this situation • Committee unanimously decided to continue with 9 members

  5. Changes because of Open List • RFC 3777: • part of the community was invited to provide feedback for nominees for some positions • RFC 5680 • all of the community is invited to provide feedback on all willing nominees for all positions • The feedback process is now open to all
