  2. St. Christopher, the Christ-Bearer“Offero” Offero was very strong, tall and big man He didn’t know our Lord Jesus Christ He started to wonder who the most powerful king was

  3. I want to find the strongest and best king! -Why did he want to find the most powerful king? - So he can serve him and be his guard!

  4. Offero thought that he found the strongest king… • But the king went to war and lost!

  5. He looked for ANOTHER king that he thought was the strongest… But this king was defeated too!

  6. Offero started to realize that real power is not in physical strength! Real power is not in physical strength!

  7. This defeated king told him that he knew the most powerful king… Who is the most powerful King?

  8. “I’ll tell you who is REALLY most powerful king!”

  9. Jesus Christ is the King of Kings. He is the most powerful and He loves me and you very much! How can I serve Him and make Him happy?

  10. The monk told Offero that he can serve Jesus by carrying people across the dangerous river • Did he say yes?

  11. One night….

  12. “Come carry me to the other side of the river!”

  13. Again… “Come carry me to the other side of the river!”

  14. The voice calling was a little child… • Offero carried the little child across the river, although it was very stormy! • Who was this child?

  15. The child was getting HEAVIER and HEAVIER….

  16. Your name will be Christopher, because you carried Christ

  17. - The rod that St. Christopher planted became a tree!

  18. So true power means to love everyone and use my power and strength to help them? Yes, real power is not physical…God looks at my heart, at the inside.
