Offero was very strong, tall and big man
He didn’t know our Lord Jesus Christ
He started to wonder who the most powerful king was
-Why did he want to find the most powerful king?
- So he can serve him and be his guard!
But this king was defeated too!
Real power is not in physical strength!
Who is the most powerful King?
Jesus Christ is the King of Kings. He is the most powerful and He loves me and you very much!
How can I serve Him and make Him happy?
The monk told Offero that he can serve Jesus by carrying people across the dangerous river
“Come carry me to the other side of the river!”
So true power means to love everyone and use my power and strength to help them?
Yes, real power is not physical…God looks at my heart, at the inside.
“That the excellence of the power may be of God and not of us.”
2 Corinthians 4:7
By carrying people across the river
