  1. IDAS™ Conventional IP Network is now available! IDAS™ is the Icom’s digital land mobile radio system based on the NXDN™ common air interface and has complete system components including handheld, mobile radios and repeaters. It has calling features including selective calling, status messages, radio stun/kill/revive and GPS position reporting, etc,. The IDAS™ is ideal for business and industry users who are thinking to migrate to a digital system and future narrow channel spacing now. The optional UC-FR5000 network controller will interconnect IDAS™ repeaters through an IP network. Up to 16 repeaters can be IP-interconnected in a system or even around the world. Ideal as a wide area network. When connected to a PC, you can remotely maintain the repeater configuration from your PC. All IDAS™ conventional features can be used in the IDAS™ Conventional IP Network communications. • IDAS™ Evolution Path Conventional Trunking Single Site IDAS™ Conventional IDAS™ Trunking • IC-FR5000/FR6000 IDAS™ Digital Repeater • IDAS™, 6.25kHz digital mode ready • Two RF modules in one unit configurable • Upgradable to Trunking or Network • Current IDAS™ radios are compatible with IDAS™ Trunking and IDAS™ IP Network.
