COW EYE DISSECTION. PROCEDURE:. Remove excess fat from exterior of eye. Cut around the edge of the cornea. You may use a razor blade or scalpel for the entire procedure, or make an incision and then use scissors to cut around the cornea. Observe the structures posterior to the cornea.

Cut around the edge of the cornea. • You may use a razor blade or scalpel for the entire procedure, or make an incision and then use scissors to cut around the cornea. • Observe the structures posterior to the cornea. • WARNING: Do not press hard! You’ll really get the juices flowing- or maybe even squirting!
Make a coronal incision through the sclera. • Remove the aqueous humor and lens.
