  1. What is ELCT? Endeavour Learning Community Trust is a group of schools and other people who are interested in making sure that children and young people get the very best opportunities available to them. They are a group who want to work together to make sure that we make the most of the different skills and resources we have – sharing the good things we do so that everyone benefits.

  3. Why will it work? Our Trust is a Co-operative Trust. This means we have all agreed to the values of the Co-operative Society. These values are: Self-help: We help each other to help themselves. We are independent and can do things for ourselves. Self-responsibility:  We take responsibility for our actions. We look after things. Democracy: We all have a voice and will be listened to. Equality:   We value everyone and their similarities and differences. Equity: We do our best to be fair. Solidarity:  We share interests with each other and all play and work together.

  4. We also believe … That we should be ethical and this means … Openness: Nobody’s perfect, and we won’t hide it when we’re not. If we don’t understand our learning we say so. It’s ok to fail when we are trying something out.Honesty:   We are honest about what we do and the way we do it. We own up if we do something wrong. Social responsibility:  We are part of our community and work together to improve it. We show respect for other people. We raise money for charity. We follow the rules. Caring for others:  We get on with each other We help someone who is down or needs a friend. We use good manners.
