Project management • Subjects: FEEM as Project Co-ordinator: overall responsibility for the scientific, administrative and planned activities (+ specific research Workpackages); The Workpackage Leaders:responsibility for the efficient implementation of the tasks within each Workpackage; The Project Steering Committee: co-ordinating and monitoring the overall research activities, their implementation and the deliverables.

PERIODIC ACTIVITY REPORT (M12, M24) • OVERALL REPORT: • Executive summary • Overall progress towards objectives • Report on overall project management, project status vs. planning • Updated list of milestones/deliverables • Plan for using and disseminating the knowledge • EACH WORKPACKAGE: • progress, deviations from workprogramme, corrective actions

Each contractor: Audit certificate • The audit certificate states the amounts subject to verification and certifies that the costs incurred meet the conditions required by the EC Contract • The external auditor must be independent from the contractor and must be qualified to carry out statutory audits of accounting documents. Public bodies may opt for a competent public officer (art. II.26) • The Commission may, at any time during the contract, and up to five years after the end of the project arrange for audits to be carried out.

  15. Project Deliverables • List and delivery date is specified in Annex I (max delay 45 days) • Deliverables have a standard front page • Deliverables must be submitted to the EC electronically AND on paper by the Project Co-ordinator
