  2. Helen Parr’s situation • Helen Parr is a stay-at-home mom/entrepreneur. • She runs a baking business and has 3 children. • Needs a computer that will keep her business documents, advertising and contacts (via email and Facebook)

  3. Recommended Computer • Lenovo Ideapad Laptop is the computer I would recommend for Helen.

  4. Chip • The chip is the brains= How fast a computer "thinks". Made by Intel or AMD. • It is measured in GHz. • Intel Core i3

  5. RAM • It has 8 GB DDR3 RAM. • Helper. Holds working information. When the power goes out, the data in RAM is gone. • It is measured in GB.

  6. Data Storage • It has 750 GB of hard drive. • It stores everything that is saved. • It is measured in GB.

  7. DVD/Blu-ray • It has DVD+/-RW (DVD burner) • It plays DVD\Blu-ray. • It is measured by DVD-R-> Read, DVD+R-> Readm, DVD+/-RW-> Write DVD burner.

  8. Network • It has Robust built-in 802.11 (WiFi) assume network jack. • Network is your internet. • It is measured in GHz or letters.

  9. “Other” Things • I has Intel HD 4000 graphics, Windows 8, 15.6” screen. • These are other things that are included with the purchase of your computer.
