  9. Scope of problem A large number of students need developmental education. In FY 2008, 90,000 students in the University System of Ohio are taking some developmental coursework Why this Focus?

  10. Why this Focus? 50% of first-year community college students have been determined not to be college ready in one or more subject

  11. Why this Focus Developmental Education is costly. In FY 2008, the cost to community colleges and students was $73 million Fiscal Concerns
