  2. Habitat • Gazelle inhabits grass plains

  3. Size • Male:58 -70 cm weigth:17-29kg femle;58-64 cm weigth;13-24kg

  4. APPEARANCE • THE GAZELLE HAS A WHITE DELLY, A WHITE RUMP PATCTH THAT EXTENDS UP • TO the tail, and a horizontal black side stripe. • Males have ridged horns . • Females have short and more often broken or deformed horns.

  5. Food • Gazelle eat shrubs and green grass.

  6. Young • A female gazelles usually give birth to a single calf after 5.5-6 months. • Gazelle life around 10-15 years

  7. Interesting fact • Gazelle has tail motion – it swings like a windshield wiper!

  8. Threats • poor weather conditions (drought ,starvation in winter 2000-2001)., • Several infectious disease. • Steppe fires .,human and livestock inference, • Predation by wolves and raptors,. • Mining industry and the trans – Siberian railway affects the Mongolian • Gazelle is distribution and migration .
