  4. The main goal of ZNRC is to promote zebrafish neuroscience research. • Created in February 2010, ZNRC offers excellent networking opportunities and peer support for active zebrafish labs.

  6. Emerging Model Organism • The Zebrafish is an emerging model animal for vertebrate development and neurological function • Offers a good compliment to other animal models • Advantages • Easy to take care of • Inexpensive • Easy to test • Quantifiable behavioral endpoints
