  8. Game are important in children’s development Games, as the most interesting way, may contribute a lot to children’s development. Games are helpful for them to learn new things, build cooperative skills, and live in a healthy way. First, playing games can help children learn new things. Games attract them to try new things and discover new things. Thus, they can gain the most direct experience. When children hear, see, touch, taste, or smell something in the game, messages are sent to their brain and important mental connections are created. By concentrating on the game, memorizing moves, keeping track of others strategies, children can keep their brain growing. Perhaps, when they came home, their hands are dirty, but their brains respond quicker, and their eyes shine more brightly.

  9. What’s more, playing games can help children build their cooperative skills. When children play together, they should follow some rules, they should consider others in the game, they should observe others reactions and then act in the right way. For example, children learn about goals and the steps necessary to win a game. Sometimes, they must wait. Games teach children patience. In this way, their cooperative ability may be built. This is the ability that they cannot gain if they are alone at home and it is valuable for their future life. Last, playing games outside of the house, in the park, or in the playground, is good for children’s health. Nowadays, many children get used to playing online games or watching TV at home. Some of them have short eyesight at a very early age. Some of them fall ill easily because of sitting in front of computer for too long. In fact, as children go outside, get together and play games, laugh and even compete against each other, fun memories are made and relationships are deepened. Their mental and physical health is developed. In a word, games play a vital role in children’s development. As a teacher, it is his duty to create chances for children to play games.
