  16. Partnership Opportunities Partners provide recruitment, pre-screening, placement and training and retention services for mature workers 55 plus. Gives CVS Managers access to qualified workers and to “On the job experience” funds. Mature Worker Programs

Veteran Programs • Army Spouse Program is a partnership with the Army that provides employment opportunities for Army Spouses in selected CVS positions. • Approximately 70% of Army spouses have college/vocational or post secondary education. • At any given time, 1 in 10 spouses are looking for work.

The New Vision/CVS partnership consists of: - 12 week internship program (9 weeks at the RLC plus 3 weeks in a store with a job coach) - Students are trained to become “Customer Service Ambassadors” - Skills learned include customer service at the photo area and throughout the store, photo product knowledge, overall maintenance and facing, and reading labels and aisle markers.
