  9. Who is Eligible? • Colleges of Agriculture and Engineering • Travel in Junior year (ideally) • Language preparation a requirement

  10. Semester-long Experience • Take classes and earn credit • Within major classes • International experience • Language • Learn about the Brazilian culture • By LIVING it!! • See and do things you never thought you would!

  11. Where would you live? • In a furnished apartment with maid service • With or without roommates • Close to campus

  12. What would you eat? • BBQ meat, rice, beans, fries, chicken, pizza, vegetables, fruits • Eat at home or go out!

  13. What is it going to cost? • Flight to Brazil: paid by the grant • Tuition and fees: paid by the student • Students will get about $400 - $500 per month for living expenses • Rent, utilities, maid: $100/month • Sending out your laundry: $15/month • Meals: lunch for $1, dinner for $2-$10
