A&FRF Mission • Assist commanders, military personnel and their families and DoD civilians balance the unique demands of the military mission and family responsibilities. • Objective: Ensure we are providing support services that adequately prepare members and their families for all facets of Readiness “Provide services and support when and where they are needed”

  3. Community Readiness Consultants Liaison with unit commander’s/first sergeants Conducts assessments, focus groups, interviews Assists with identifying unit needs based upon mission, input from personnel, and trends Proposes action/implementation plans utilizing all available resources on and off base.

  4. Who Do We Serve? • Services and support tools free of charge • Services are available for: • Single Military Members • Married Military Members and Families • Reserve/Guard on Extended Active Duty • DoD Civilians • Military Retirees and their Spouses

Key Spouses Program • Program is partnership between the Key Spouse, organizational leadership & A&FRC • Key Spouses Program provides: * a framework for stability and support * enhance the flow of communication by informing, referring and supporting families * enhance mission readiness • Key Spouses are volunteers and are selected by the squadron commander

  12. Heart Link Program • Increases spouse awareness of mission, customs, traditions, protocol, and support resources and services * fun-filled day of interactive games, presentations, and prizes * childcare and lunch are provided

  16. Doesn’t require Commander/First Sergeant approval No interest Loans Grants based upon circumstances & ability to pay (not automatic) New “Falcon” loan. Maximum of $750 for general living expenses. Must be paid back within 10 months
